Project 11 - Rebuild of a 1980's kit home - total refurbish

A family loves the area, it's schools and facilities - BUT find the home very difficult to live in. Non load bearing walls are removed - lighting and power supply improved plus a bargain luxury kitchen - purchased on sale helps transform the area. We further improve the space by removing the shabby carpet and some of the damaged slate when striped back revealing the original perfect floor boards, which are patched and sanded/polished. All work finished in 5 weeks and despite a few issues with roof repairs - still within the budget that was allocated.
