STORM DAMAGED STUDY / HOME OFFICE - REBUILT

After a huge storm tears off the roof of a coastal home. I help the elderly owner navigate the insurance requirements which includes having all repair estimates and the evidence of the damage documented. We decide to take what was a dingy study and make it a welcoming retreat for her grandchild. Sourcing and directing all repair crew including fresh and functional furniture with plenty of storage. The annex / study is ruined. Its - time to make it a wonderful place for retreat and learning. I chose to use an actual type of flooring for the " back splash " of the custom made desk.
