This request came as " source some furniture " however as the whats app messages from the owner, got bigger there where many tasks needed to help this lovely family of 5 relocate from overseas to Sydney - advice about the area the family where moving to - a new life for all . This was all around the build up to xmas 2022. All items from their old country is in a container ship so we had to think of everything - including the vacumn cleaner - every basic need. Plus I only had floor plans and some old real estate photos to assess what the house needed. The owner and I made a list per room and so it began. The first job was to rent a storage unit so all items purchased could be held safely in one place. They only got the keys for the home on arrival 5 days before moving in. Plus lock in removalist/ Commercial clean of the ex rental / carpet clean - help with any repairs or problems. Basically be there eyes and ears in Sydney. I went to work understanding the needs and shopping for everything that was needed to have a house become a home - with the holiday closures making it tricky. I would send photos and videos of all my searches for beds and all furniture, we whats app decisions and a lot was achieved in a brief time. At time of writing the family have moved into clean new home, full of furniture and items to make it a home. Very brave step moving country and I am glad I could help them ease into their new life a bit easier.
